Each year in Ribera del Duero, we expect the best out of our Tempranillo grapes, but this year was exceptionally good. As I picked the grapes and place them into the basket, I kept eating the grapes. After a day of doing this, my lips and hands were purple – a labor of love I say.

Israel, my partner in crime did not participate in Harvest, but he sure did capture this on video and had enough wine to swell his belly for a week.

This podcast came with a surprise as we tried red wine with dark chocolate and it was a major flop.  Move over dark chocolate, Sevillan Polvoróns were a hit with this bottle of Tempranillo.

Join us on this short 11 minute adventure on how we discovered Polvoróns are pretty good with a young red wine from Ribera del Duero.

Anata Banderas - a10

Cheers to you Antonio Banderas!  Anta a10 is wonderful.

From the moment I could sniff the wine glass, I was impressed and my only thought was, “please don’t disappoint on the delivery”. Oh what a surprise! The wine delivered and had a long French oak finish. Full of character and flavor. I highly recommend the Anta a10 blend! I still need to try the others.
